Biden Contemplates 'Truth Commission' to Investigate Government Disinformation -
Taps Music Legend to Head Investigations Into Democrats
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, music legend Stevie Wonder released a 4-minute video asking President-elect Biden
to set up a ‘Truth Commission’ to start holding government officials accountable for their false statements.
"We need a truth commission that forces this country to look at its lies,” Wonder said. “Without truth, we cannot have
accountability. Without accountability, we cannot have forgiveness. Without forgiveness, we cannot heal."
Biden praised the idea, and blasted the Trump Administration, claiming they put forth disinformation on a dailly basis.
Biden said he’d likely set up a ‘Truth Commission’ to focus on Republican falsehoods in his first 100 days.
When asked whether the commission would also investigate cases where Democrats and the media were also untruthful, Biden
replied, “Of course. I’ll have Stevie look into that.”
