MSNBC Criticizes Governor DeSantis For Vaccinating Seniors For COVID
Instead Of Killing Them With It

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MSNBC is criticizing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for giving priority to senior citizens when distributing COVID-19 vaccinations, claiming he is favoring a large Republican voter bloc.

“Senior citizens overwhelmingly voted for DeSantis, and he’s rewarding them for it,” said an MSNBC spokesperson. “It would be like if Democrats gave priority to dead people.”

“DeSantis needs to be more like Governor Cuomo, and stop playing politics with peoples’ lives.”

For months, MSNBC praised New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for his handling of the COVID crisis, which in hindsight many feel endangered the lives of senior citizens.

It was well-known that senior citizens are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, so it made sense to isolate them away from the virus, and to prioritize their vaccinations.

However, Governor Cuomo forced COVID-19 patients into nursing homes with seniors, which was a likely factor in the deaths of 16,000 seniors in New York nursing homes.

Meanwhile, Governor DeSantis’ policy will likely save seniors.

Even in light of this, MSNBC continues to hold Cuomo up as the better role model for how to fight the COVID pandemic.

“If we ignore the death of 16,000 seniors,” said the MSNBC spokesperson, Cuomo’s handling of the situation was much better than DeSantis’.”

“And after all, Cuomo won an Emmy.”
