On Biden’s First Official Call with China He Orders Kung Pao Chicken
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, President Biden held his first official phone call with China’s President Xi Jinping,
and he ordered the Kung Pao Chicken.
Aids believe Biden’s confusion started when someone mentioned that China was “eating our lunch”.
Throughout the rest of the call, Biden continually thought he was talking to a restaurant.
When an aid brought up Hong Kong, Biden said, “No. Kung Pao.”
When discussing Taiwan, and how relations had soured, Biden exclaimed, “Yes...some Hot and Sour.”
When someone said the two countries had come to a fork in the road, Biden said, “Yes, please. I can’t use chopsticks.”
Aids then finished the rest of the call themselves, distracting Biden with a puzzle book.
However, as the call was ending, Biden interjected, “Don’t forget those little cookies.”
“I like those little cookies.”
