Democrats Accuse Trump of Plagiarizing Their Tactics of Making Baseless Accusations and
Not Accepting Election Results

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Both media members and Democrats on Capitol Hill are livid, claiming that by not conceding the election and instead making baseless accusations, Trump is illegally copying political behaviors that exclusively belong to Democrats.

“Those are our tactics!” exclaimed AOC. “He is stealing from our playbook!”

“This is cultural appropriation!”

Senator Chuck Schumer agreed.

“It’s pretty clear that in 2016, Democrats firmly established that we own the tactic of not accepting the results of an election,” explained Schumer. “We funded recounts, we tried to block the certification, and we didn’t show up at the inauguration. We adopted the ‘Not My President’ moniker, and spent four years calling him ‘Illegitimate’. He simply cannot say that he invented this tactic himself.”

“And don’t get me started on refusing to concede,” Schumer continued. “Stacy Abrams started using that tactic a full two years before Trump did. She still hasn’t conceded the 2018 Georgia Gubernatorial election, claiming the election was stolen from her. And before the 2020 election, Hillary Clinton said ‘Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances....’. And now Trump pretends that refusing to concede is his own novel idea.”

“Trump is clearly stealing our approach. He's no more than a two-bit copycat.”

“He’s also stolen our patented approach of making baseless accusations,” added Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “Everyone knows we spent three years claiming that he colluded with the Russians, without any proof. Night after night, we had the news media claiming there was some new ‘Bombshell’ evidence that Trump colluded, when in reality there was nothing. Night after night, we had former government officials go on national TV and claim they had personally seen evidence, when under oath they admitted they had not seen anything. Even the independent council investigation headed by Robert Mueller declined to prosecute Trump due to a lack of evidence.”

“Look at the issue we impeached him over. When we claimed he engaged in corruption involving the Ukraine, we treated an affidavit from a whistleblower as evidence. Now Trump has hundreds of whistleblowers from polling sites claiming illegal activity, and he’s trying to treat their affidavits as evidence.”

“It is so obvious he’s mimicking our tactics, it’s disgusting.”
