Senate Democrats Send the Supreme Court a Warning...with a Dead Fish

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Democrats sent the US Supreme Court an ominous warning yesterday, telling the court to "heal" division or face "restructuring".

To show they mean business, the Senators wrapped their letter around a dead fish.

In dreams, a dead fish is symbolic of a loss of power or wealth by an individual, or a sign of great disappointments that may soon come their way.

In the movie "The Godfather", a dead fish meant someone is (or will) "sleep with the fishes".

"The Supreme Court is not well," explained Luigi Antonio, a spokesperson for the Senators, "and the People know it. So we thought we'd make them an offer they can't refuse, you knowwhaddamean?"

"Perhaps the Court can heal itself before the public demands it be ‘restructured’ in order to reduce the influence of politics. Particularly on the urgent issue of gun control, a nation desperately needs it to heal."

"If not, you know...sumfin might happen."
