Trumps Racist Comments about Baltimore's Rats Ingeniously Expose Equally Racist Democrats

Rats on the Baltimore Streets

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Many Democrats and mainstream media outlets have criticized Trumps comments about Baltimore's "rat infestations" and poor living conditions as being racist. However, there may be a silver lining to Trump's racist comments, as they have exposed virtually identical racist comments by Democrats, media members, and others.

In 2015, after taking a tour of West Baltimore, Bernie Sanders said, "Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you're in a wealthy nation," Sanders said. "You would think that you were in a Third World country." He also said, "We're talking about a community in which there are hundreds of buildings that are uninhabitable." Then in 2016, Bernie tweeted, "Residents of Baltimore's poorest boroughs have lifespans shorter than people living under dictatorship in North Korea. That is a disgrace."

In 2008, Baltimore's Mayor Sheila Dixon, highlighted the rat problem by publishing picture of rats as part of her "Cleaner, Greener Baltimore Initiative".

Last year Baltimore's Mayor, Catherine Pugh, also complained about the rats. As she toured the neighborhood, she said: "What the hell? We should just take all this sh*t down. ... Whoa, you can smell the rats. ... Whew, Jesus. ... Oh, my God, you can smell the dead animals."

Since they all said the same racist thing Trump said, Bernie Sanders and these two former Baltimore Mayors – both African American women and both Democrats – clearly must also be racist.

In addition to these racist Democrats, Trumps comments also exposed racists in the mainstream media.

In May, the racist New York Times Magazine ran a cover story called, "The Tragedy of Baltimore," saying that Baltimore went from bad to horrible, pointing to the cause as "nothing less than a failure of order and governance the likes of which few American cities have seen in years."

In a racist move, Baltimore's local ABC TV station did a story on Baltimore's rat infestations in 2017.

Last year, the racist Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) aired a documentary called "Rat Film", detailing the rodent issue in Baltimore.

Even The Baltimore Sun was exposed as being racist. In April, the same editorial board that criticized Trump as racist for making his comments published another op-ed titled "Baltimore's perpetual trash problem." The article detailed some of the problems caused by the uncollected piles of trash, including increased rodent infestations.

So clearly, many in the mainstream media are also racist.

Evidently, even Reality is racist. In 2018, Orkin, the pest control company, rated Baltimore as one of the "Rattiest Cities" in the nation. How racist of them. Since Trump made his comments, numerous African-American residents of Baltimore have come forward and complained about the rats. Racists! Finally, a political activist went and actually filmed the rats in the Baltimore streets.

Evidently, even the light rays that bounced off the rats and were captured by her camera were racist.
