OAXACA, MEXICO – Over 7000 Hondurans have started the long march from their country to the United States, in hopes of starting a new life in a country they expect to dislike.

"I can‘t wait to get there and complain about the unfairness," one traveler said, "We watch American media, so we know the problems: Rampant racism against Latinos, how our children will be under-represented in college, and how the rich people will exploit us."

Another man added, "Don‘t forget how White Privilege will keep us down, the criminal justice system will target us unfairly, and we‘ll be terrorized by ICE."

"And no one wants to give us free healthcare."

A man waiving a Honduran flag said, "I dream about uprooting my entire life, making my family travel 2000 miles over rugged roads on make‐shift transportation, and then bragging about how much better Honduras was."
